The Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution will host a forum on policy proposals to promote employment. Following opening remarks from Robert Rubin, former Treasury Secretary and co-chair emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations, the event will feature two panels: a roundtable discussion on the challenges facing low-wage workers who are out of or on the margins of the labor force; and a panel examining policy proposals for employment supports such as job training, employment subsidies, and public employment. The event will be held at Brookings in Washington, D.C., from 1-3 p.m. ET. Click here to register.
