Spotlight Webcast: White House Office of Social Innovation

Conversation with Sonal Shah, director

President Obama created the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation, and Sonal Shah became its leader with a long list of credentials including having worked at both Google and the Department of the Treasury during the Clinton Administration. In that last capacity she overlapped with Spotlight's own Tom Freedman, then Senior Advisor to President Clinton and charged with coming up with innovative initiatives in that White House. We're excited to offer Sonal's thoughts on how government can help promote innovation in this webcast—interviewed by Spotlight's Jodie Levin-Epstein.
